This is Cathy and me at Sterling College in Kansas (1983)...I remember the day I first "met" Cathy like it was yesterday...She was walking out of the student union and said "Hi" to me out of the blue...I think I stammered "Hi" or something back, because I was surprised (no, I was terrified) she even noticed me. I was immediately captivated by her beautiful smile, honest and friendly, non-judgemental, so full of life, with a slight hint of mischief. A smile that never changed over the next 25 years...
